2008 LABOR DAY PICNICS

Every year UFCW Local 555 participates in Labor Day activities all across the jurisdiction.  We want to formally invite you and your family to attend these Labor Day activities.  Come join your fellow UFCW Brothers and Sisters.

Labor Day – Monday, September 1, 2008

Portland Metro Area - Oaks Amusement Park – Lunch will be served from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.  Ride bracelets will be given out to the first 500 kids under the age of 12.  This picnic is put on in conjunction with the Northwest Oregon Labor Council.

Bend Area – Pioneer Park – Picnic hours will be from 12:00 pm (noon) to 4:00 pm.  Music, Games, and Fun for the whole family.  This picnic is put on in conjunction with the Central Oregon Central Labor Council.

Eugene/Springfield Area – Jasper Park (12 miles SE of Eugene) – Lunch will be served starting at 12:00 pm (noon).  Parking is $3.00 and the park is along the McKenzie River.  This picnic is put on in conjunction with the Lane County Labor Council.

Medford/Grants Pass Area – Touvelle State Park – Parking is $3.00.  Picnic starts at 10:30 am.  Music, Games, and Fun for the whole family.  This picnic is put on in conjunction with the Southern Oregon Central Labor Council. 

North Bend/Coos Bay Area – Ferry Road Park – Picnic hours will be from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Music, Games, and Fun for the whole family.  This picnic is put on in conjunction with the Southwestern Oregon Central Labor Council.

Vancouver/ SW Washington - Oaks Amusement Park – Lunch will be served from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.  Ride bracelets will be given out to the first 500 kids under the age of 12.  This picnic is put on in conjunction with the Northwest Oregon Labor Council.
