Jeff
McDonald
Secretary Treasurer
Jeff McDonald has
been a member since 1977. During High School
Jeff became a member working for a small
independent as a courtesy clerk. After
graduating from David Douglas High School he
continued to work in the Produce Department
while attending Mt. Hood Community College. Jeff
was the Shop Steward for the Store. In 1990 he
was hired by the Local in the Membership
Services department, he has established himself
as a well respected Representative and Organizer
while continuing his education through the
University of Oregon.
He has held both
positions in the Grievance Department including
Grievance Director. In his role of Secretary
Treasurer Jeff is responsible for overseeing day
to day operations, which include the Union
Representatives as well as the Grievance
Department. Jeff is married with two boys, and
enjoys seeing both participate in sports. In his
spare time he likes to golf and do yard work,
which includes taking care of a few Koi fish.
Jeff is very proud
he was appointed by the governor to serve on the
State Wage and Hour Board. In all his years of
dedicated service he has held many different
positions outside of his duties at the Union
which include:
