Wake-up-Walmart

The UFCW International Union maintains a campaign and web site to combat Wal-Mart.  The purpose of this campaign is to change the way Wal-Mart does business...for the better!!!  Wal-Mart is the largest retailer in the world, and one of the most profitable. Instead of leading the way with a positive example, they have let America and the rest of the world down.  Wal-Mart has lowered wages, forcing good paying American jobs overseas and cut costs with total disregard for the values that have made this nation great. Wal-Mart has needlessly exploited illegal immigrants, faces the largest gender discrimination lawsuit in history, forced workers to work in an unsafe environment. Wal-Mart has also violated child labor, wage and hour, environmental, and collective bargaining laws.

We encourage you Join the Campaign to change Wal-Mart as well as visit the site to learn more about the campaign.
