Marilyn Roos has worked at UFCW Local 555 since 1995 and was hired as a Secretary in the Grievance Department working for Membership Services Director Ed Clay and Union Representatives.  Marilyn was promoted to Executive Secretary in 1997 and worked for Union President Gene Pronovost and Secretary-Treasurer Ed Clay.  She has been a member of UFCW Local 555 and worked directly with the Executive Board Vice Presidents.

Marilyn has been a Delegate to the Northwest Oregon Central Labor Council, Oregon AFL-CIO New Alliance, and Labor’s Community Services Agency Board of Directors.  She has also participated in registering members to vote, canvassing union households, and Wal-Mart site fights.  Marilyn came from a strong union household, is married and enjoys German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers and Werlwind Bernese Mountain dogs.
