Observe the Democratic Process in Action

The 2011 race for UFCW Local 555 President will come to an end at noon on Thursday September 8 when the Elections Committee picks up the ballots from the post office and begins the process of counting the ballots and certifying the election results.  The members of Local 555 are invited to the Tigard office to view the event.

The process of counting the ballots is expected to start around 12:30 pm, and will likely take several hours.  A BBQ lunch will be provided for those attending to watch the election returns, with food beginning to be served at about 1 pm.
